Having excruciating on and off middle right back and abdominal pain for over a month now . my liver enzymes were high were at the er and they referred me to a gi. i am 2 weeks out from my appointment how can i lessen/cope with the pain until then?

They should have prescribed something for pain. You can see your family MD or try otc Tylenol and a heating pad. Hope you feel better

If your pain remains severe, you may need to return to the emergency room. It is certainly possible that you may have gallbladder or common bile duct issues. If the symptoms worsen, don’t be shy about going back. Good luck.
