A member asked:

Had a 2d echocardiogram and the conclusions were right ventricle was not "well visualized" along with "insufficient tricuspid regurgitation jet to estimate right systolic pressure" what does this mean?

It means the cardiologist who read the echocardiogram could not visualize well the right ventricle and its function, usually due to a technical issue. If the right ventricle's characteristics are necessary for the diagnosis, another transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) may be ordered with particular emphasis on the right ventricle or a transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) can be done. Good luck.
