According to LabCorp reference range (all laboratories use different ones), normal PTH level is 15-65 pg/mL. Corrected calcium needs to be calculated using a formula accounting for either protein or albumin because calcium is a positively charged anion that binds to them. There are other causes of hypercalcemia that the ordering provide needs to take into account.

It’s possible to have hyper parathyroidism with a normal PTH however, this is rare. Consult endocrinologist for specific diagnosis and treatment.
