A member asked:

Adjusted calcium 2.64 nmol/l (2.20-2.60) could this be slightly raised due to ca supplements or should i have a parathyroid hormone blood test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Calcium labs: Hi. I would suggest repeat the total calcium and albumin, with the panel including creatinine and total CO2, get an ionized calcium, and an intact PTH. I doubt it, but ant history of kidney stones or fragility fractures? Good luck!
