Hello i had a tonsilectomy on march 30th. is it normal for me to still feel like something is in my throat and i cant lay flat on my back with out feeling like a flap closes on me. if i lay on my side and lay elevated im fine?

There is no flap but it could be due to some swelling in the area which should go away. If not better in afew days check with the surgeon. Hope you feel better
