Had tonsillectomy one month ago and throat still hurts. i noticed 2 pimples in my throat one on each side where tonsils used to be. normal or not?

Post tonsillectomy: Yes, sounds pretty normal to have some lingering pain and discomfort. Irregularities in the tonsil bed are not uncommon. The oral mucosa can have a bumpy texture for a while, as it heals. Sometimes little mucus retention cysts can develop, as it heals. Most of the time, by 3 months everything will look normal. Any major concerns should be seen by your surgeon.
