I have had a recent few weeks with very bad anxiety, went for a simple physical and the pa said she may hear a slight heart murmur. can my recent stress cause this? no other symptoms. my blood pressure was high as well. 140/100?

A heart murmur can sometimes be heard when either the blood pressure or heart rate are increased. Either or both can be increased with anxiety so it is possible that your increased anxiety could be the etiology of this heart murmur. Getting your anxiety under control and then seeing if the heart murmur goes away would be a way to determine if this is the etiology. Good luck to you!

No on stress causing sight heart murmur. Cound affect your BP though. If BP was taken while you were seated on an exam table will be bout 10/6 falsely high.
