Do sleep tracking apps actually work?

They don’t 100% define the sleep cycle. A sleep study looks at the brain waves to properly define sleep and all the various stages. A sleep app cannot define all the stages of sleep in this way. If there is any question about sleep-related disorders, a sleep study should be pursued. Good luck!

Depends on what they say they are tracking The gold standard is s sleeps study in a sleep lab.
