When you make new retainers, do they take new impressions or do they use the mould they take of your teeth? i didnt get my mould to take home with me. also, after i get my residual glue off my teeth, will i need new impressions for a new retainer?

Yes, we take a new scan (impressions) of the teeth to make new retainers. You can ask for a model. All the bonding material (glue) should be removed before a final scan (Impression) is made for you retainers.

Theeth change constantly. I would never make new retainers on archived models.Worn properly, retainers will last forbears without needing remake. Worn improperly, your teeth will shift. Ifso, retainers retain, they don't straighten teeth.
