I have been proscribed sertraline 50mg and am currently taking it at 11.30pm. if i take it at 11pm and from then on moving forwards is this safe or must i be strict with the timings?

No, such slight time variability should not make a difference. Try to take it at a time that is most convenient for you with less chances of missing your daily doses.
