Can lattice degeneration cause a gradual increase in floaters as you get into your 40s?

An increase of floaters in patient with lattice degeneration should necessitate a retinal exam for ruling out retinal detachment. To say the other way, I would not associate the increase in floaters to aging in a person with lattice degeneration. Good luck.
