Each month before my periods i get painful, swollen throat, and chills, with no fever. i am being treated for hashimoto since 2015. could this flu like condition be a complication of hashimoto or cancer? i also have very large tonsils in general?

How old is the person who has these unusual perimenstrual symptoms? Certainly, those symptoms have nothing to do with any past or present thyroid condition. Throat examination should be done during the symptomatic phase to see if any correlation between throat symptoms and physical findings. Take care.
