Could be anything..: He needs to be further examined. He would need to have a good examination and some blood work/procedures- scan and perhaps biopsy- need to be done.Due to his age- it could be many things-from infection/inflammation to cancer-that still has to be ruled out. Although many times, cancerous lymph nodes are painless, but it can be painful too. Please bring him to see his md for further evaluation.
