White cells include neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils, monocytes and lymphocytes. Monocytes are larger than others. Any condition causing monocytosis will give large white cells and any immature cells in peripheral blood can also give large white cells . Usually leukocytosis which is increased number of white cells is a concern. Hope it helps.
