It has been reported that calcium channel blockers, such as amlodipine, can aggravate the ST elevation seen in Brugada syndrome leading to susceptibility of life threatening ventricular arrhythmias. I found one study that showed no problems in Brugada patients when used in normal doses. However, I feel Brugada syndrome patients should be advised& followed by cardiologist electrophysiologists.
