It depends what you mean by too much water. Too much water is not good for anyone as it can lead to electrolyte disturbances, including a low sodium. If the kidney disease is advanced enough, the kidneys may not be able to get rid of the extra water and cause more severe electrolyte issues. It is best to ask your kidney doctor how much fluid is acceptable each day to avoid these issues. Good luck

Too much of a good thing is not necessarily a good thing. The amt ofwater intake will depend on many things- body size, climate, physical activity , degree of CKD- and is best addressed by the treating nephrologist.
