A member asked:

I was recently diagnosed with vestibular migraines, and recently i have been getting a numb, tingly, tongue and lips. is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Paroxysmal vertigo episodes can be caused by several mechanisms and migraine is but one. If you suffer from Basilar Migraine, or Classical Migraine, tongue, and facial numbness may be associated with auras. This process may need the attention of a headache specialist, and a second opinion might prove productive.
