A member asked:

Im having a procedure (non heart; non surgical) in the hospital with an overnight or two. instead of having my vitals taken what seems like every 15 minutes thru the night, is it possible that doctor can lessen it somewhat? can he order less?

Your doctor should determine how often vital signs are taken. If vital signs are being taken every 15 minutes, your doctor is closely monitoring for some reason. You would not want less monitoring if this is necessary for your recovery and well-being. Best of luck to you!
