Strengthen muscles: There is a lot of evidence that in people with spondylosis or spondylolithesis strengthening muscles opposite (those that pull back) can greatly improve pain and tension caused by this disorder. Usually pilates and balance moves are helpful. Seek professional help to make sure this is okay for your specific issue.
