Hospital protocol: will have one or 2 overnights after procedure. i take 5 maintenance rx's. do i bring them with me to take or does the hospital require that their own pharmacy issue it? one is not so common. hope they would even have it. (??

Bring your own medications with you just to make sure. When you are hospitalized, you are usually required to take meds dispensed by hospital pharmacy. However, your doctor will write the order for you to take your own med which is not available in the hospital. It usually needs more than 24 hours for the pharmacy to urgently order it. Good luck with your procedure.
