If a person had a life threatening medical emergency, would the ambulance take them to the nearest hospital? even if they dont have insurance? hope so

To nearest hospital: They will take you to the hospital closest to where they picked you up. Under a Federal law termed EMTALA, the hospital is required to give you acute treatment until stability and safety is reached. They could then transfer you to a hospital which will accept EMTALA
