74 years type 2 dm for past 20 years. last week chest pain while walking alone and got better when taking rest. ecg and echo normal .trop i score 9.2.tmt positive with downsloping st segment and t wave inversion reversed in recovery phase.diagnosis?

It sounds like angina. The person may need a stress test to see what happens with exercise and, if ischemia is present, will need treatment. This person should be seeing a cardiologist. Best of luck to you!

Was that troponin positive for damage? Your stress test showed EKG changes which is positive for significant coronary artery blockage. I would think the next step is either a cardiac cath&angiogram or a CT scan coronary angiogram with fractional flow reserve which may allow a decision as to invasive treatment options vs conservative treatment..In the meantime the cardiologist will treat you.
