For the past 2 months my urine has a very strong scent of sulfur/ rotten eggs. im a 45 year old female in a 7 year same sex relationship. im starting to get worried, because it started out of nowhere with no diet change and i consume enough water?

I've never found pathology in patients whose urine smells like sulfur. Other than checking for a bladder infection, dietary factors, certain medications or supplements being taken and not taking in enough daily fluids, I had no further advice for them. Would a urologist have more advice for you?

You should have your doctor do a urinalysis and urine culture to see what that shows. Perhaps you have a urinary tract infection that needs antibiotic treatment. Do you have symptoms like urinary burning, frequency, urgency? The urinalysis should help narrow the etiology of your symptoms. So, call your doctor to get this checked. Good luck to you!
