Endoscopic surgery is less invasive than laminectomy surgery. You should speak to the surgeon about your risk for this procedure based on any other medical issues you have. If the benefit outweighs the risk, including the anesthesia risk, then you can consider having the procedure done. Your primary care doctor should be involved in this decision. Good luck to you!
