I am having surgery on7-1-13 and i was wondering what is done for laminectomy of l4-s1 have burning pain for 9 months now since the tkr in 10/12/12?

Laminectomy: Laminectomy is when the bony elements and ligaments in the back portion of the spine (in your case l4, l5, and s1) are removed to relieve compression to the nerves. This is usually done for lumbar stenosis. People with this problem often complain of limitation in walking due to pain, improved while walking with a shopping cart, etc. Anyway, all the best for a speedy recovery!
