A member asked:

I heard that glycopyrrolate promote optic nerve regeneration. can i ask my doctor to prescribe it since i have optic nerve damage in one eye?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You can hear whatever you wish, BUT, Glycopyrrolate is used to treat ulcers, in concert with other medications, and has anticholinergic properties. It is not used in ophthalmology. There is no drug to restore chronic optic nerve damage. You certainly can ask your doctor about this product and updates in treating eye disorders.
