Pain could be from gum, periodontal inflammation is the possible cause of pain. If gums are puffy and bleed than see a periodontist or your dentist for a cleaning. Since antibiotic didn't work, crowns could be ill fitting and causing pain in the area of crowns.

If your Dentist cannot find a reason for your pain, ask him/her to recommend a root canal specialist, an Endodontist. Endodontists have unique equipment and a Dept of training and experience that may result in a solution to9our problem.
