Could you tell me what this means. received from an ultrasound report. there are bilateral subcentimeter in short axis cervical lymph nodes?

The notes seen in short axis view (which may differ across X-ray shops shows cervical lymph nodes on both sides of neck are smaller than one centimeter. 2.54 cm = 1 inch. So likely normal size for folks like you who live where you do. Discuss with the Dr who ordered the test is always best as they know you we do not.
