Cholesterol 147,hdl 43,triglycerides 158,ldl 79.i eat a lot of bread,snack cakes & snack foods. if i cut out the snack foods and cakes would this be enough to get triglycerides in range or do all breads like bagel's need to go? i take lipitor 20mg?

Your blood fat levels are not too bad right now. If you can cut out sweets(cakes) your triglycerides will come down under 150 mg which is a safe level. Exercise and weight control will also help you to reduce the levels of LDL and increase HDL.
