I would say if there is no obvious symptoms like respiratory like cough or gastrointestinal like diarrhea you could have them wash their hands or even wear a mask when they visit your baby. You may want to verify what type of encounter they had like how close they were to animals on their trip. If they are well and precautions taken they could visit with your baby after a few days of their return.
