A family member burned some sage in our house while we were out with our 2 week old. they opened the windows in the house and had fans on for 5-6 hours while we were out. it doesnt really smell but could this be dangerous for infant? should i worry?

No. What you described would not affect of the infant or anybody else.

Ventilating the area for several hours should clear the air and any particles. After airing the room, it should be fine for baby to be in it. Recommend the family member burn vegetable matter outside.
