This : This could be coming from your maxillary (upper) wisdom teeth erupting towards your cheek. If this is the case, every time you open your mouth you would be pinching your cheek between that tooth and your jawbone. If the pain is on the right side, sliding your jaw to your left will also make it hurt, and vice versa. The "greenish-yellow dot" could be an ulceration. As the wisdom tooth slowly erupts, the problem only gets worse. Since it has not resolved after a week i suggest you see your dentist to confirm what is causing this problem and have it treated.

Any : Any changes that persist in your mouth following trauma like cheek biting, or stabbing yourself with hard food or a foreign object should be cause for concern. Certainly you should seek the advice from your dentist if it does not go away or resolve itself in the next couple of days. The fact that you are in pain is reason for concern. Pain is a natural warning sign and you should pay attention to it now! i recommend seeing your dentist. Dr. Neil mcleod dds dentistry that lasts - quality that counts.
