Almost every night when i lay on my side i hear weird noises in my pillow. like crackling, clicks and scratching noises. it's been happening for years. even before i got tinnitus. is it from my memory foam pillows or my pillowcases? thanks?

In some people when their jaw moves it straightens the eustachian tube between their middle ear & throat. When this happens air can enter & produce a popping or crackling sound. It is of no particular significance.

After being sick with (what's suspected) human metapneumovirus, I hear a faint clicking sound in my left ear every time I yawn. Could this be an indicator of something more serious? I do not have tinnitus (I went to an ENT). I've had TMJ for 10 years?
