Anxious!: Your ears can hear all sorts of sounds when they are compressed. So try to shift the angle at which you are laying down and i expect the sounds will go away. Sometimes it is the beat of your heart which can be causing these popping sounds. Try to ignore, relax as it is nothing serious. Hope you caan sleep better now.

Eustachian tube?: You might have a blocked/infected eustachian tube. It connects with the ear, thus the sounds. Your doc can diagnose that or whatever else might be happening and treat you. Peace and good health.
