Question for husband 65 yr ,don't want to see dr, suddenly get very sleepy ,slurs speech loose balance when walking, happened x4 past 2yr, no numbness, last - 30 min, no medication except lipitor could it be tia ? healthy otherwise but sob on effort?

Very worrisome. The pattern suggests a stroke or several mini strokes although a TIA might be the issue. If you want him to stay around for a while take him to a hospital for an evaluation.
