Hi, i have a mass located on my right lower rib area. i have a hx of rcc with a left nephrectomy. i know i need to see my physician, however hoping you can provide some insight. thanks?

If the mass is superficial, clear margin and soft, it is likely a cyst or a lipoma. If the mass is on one of the rib, it could be a bone cyst. Renal cancer rarely metastasize to the rib by my experience. I doubt if you can feel a mass inside the liver which is in that location. You should see your doctor for confirmation and do not worry much in the mean time. Good luck!
