If you are not sexually active, you may first experience the symptom of dysmenorrhea with an early period this month. However, if pain persists beyond 2 days, you should see a GYN doctor. In the meantime, take some OTC pain killers and observe the menstrual flow. If bleeding is brisk, ovulation or ovarian cyst rupture can be the culprit. Take care!
