Recurrent abdominal pain (RAP) is not too uncommon and yet poses a great challenge to the primary care providers. A good number of affected children often visit ER or urgent care facility without hearing clear answer. GI specialist should be able to sort out the cause (s) only if RAP is associated with clear abnormalities in the gastrointestinal tract.
