A member asked:

If you have scoliosis can that cause you to have stenosis with l3 4 and l4 5?

I look at the conditions as separate in their physiological origins and effects. Someone can have both/one or neither.

Presume that scoliosis has been present lifelong. The foraminal stenosis at the two levels is a consequence of wear and tear arthritic degeneration over the years. Scoliosis did not cause the latter.
