Is there an easy way at home to tell whether my ear pain is from an infection vs referred pain from my neck? i am trying to decide whether to go to chiropractor or ent. i experience both on a regular basis?

The only way to determine if your ear pain is from an ear infection is for a doctor to look into your ear. Then, they can see if you have an infection in the ear canal, deeper in the ear or not at all. You will not be able to tell at home since you cannot look into your own ear canal. So, if you are concerned about an ear infection, see your doctor. Good luck!
