A member asked:

An ultrasound found a small hydrocele . i have tested negative for any stds/stis. does that mean it is safe for me to have sex while waiting for my next urologist appointment to discuss treatment for the hydrocele?

I can't see where having a small hydrocele should pose any reason for you to change any aspect of your daily life, including sex. It has likely been there for a while and may not need any treatment.

It would be fine to have sexual relations before your next appointment. It is rare for intercourse to injure the hydrocele.
