A member asked:

28 male. i recently had distal bicep tendon repair surgery. im 4 weeks out now, and still have pain with some movements. is this normal? im concerned i re ruptured it. i havent heard/felt any sudden pops or tears since the repair?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your tendon is still undergoing healing presently. Another 2-3 weeks for a more solid healing. However, you need to work on your range of motion. ROM. Then strengthening after and during ROM. Physical therapist should be seen for as structured program. Without you are doomed for failure.
