If you had been vaccinated I wonder what you mean by should you be protected since it seems you have done what you could do apart from making sure that you do not expose broken skin to possible transmission of the virus. It is not all of the HPV viruses that have been put in the vaccine but the ones that are associated with cancer risk predominantly. You could still have strain not in the vaccine

Should be. HPV vaccines has been proven highly effective in preventing genital warts related to HPV types 6 & 11.
