Can a eustachean tube dysfunction cause an occasional eruption of a thicker phlegm that tastes very very bad like an infection. this bad taste erupts once in a while when i am chewing very hard. sometimes i have a very mild version of this taste when?

This is not a characteristic symptom of eustachian tube dysfunction. Blocked hearing, ear ache,clicking& popping sounds are common. A sinus infection may be your problem especially if you had a headcold within the past 2 weeks. See your MD or ENT specialist as needed.
