Not necessarily. Hemorrhoids are just the kind of dilated veins you get on your legs after childbirth, here they form inside your rectum. People get them but this is not the only cause of rectal blood. Large/dry/bulky or rapidly expelled poop can cause a crack in the ring on the anus that leaks bright red blood on the outside of poop. Work on softening your stools & this may stop as a problem.

Yes, internal hemorrhoid is the most common cause. With successive bowel movement, bleeding persists but usually painless. For external hemorrhoid you often have burning, itching and blood on wipe. Other causes can be rectal fissure, diverticulosis or rectosigmoid cancer. If you are constipated, you need to change your lifestyle to overcome this problem. Good luck!
