Yes. Cake, like bread, usually is safe even after several days at room temperature, especially if it tastes OK. Aluminum foil isn't a health risk either.

Depending on the type of cake, it is likely to still be OK to eat. If it appears to be spoiled in anyway, however, I would avoid it. Good luck.
