About 2 months ago, i woke up with excruciating pain to my foot. cramping and burning sensation to bottom of foot which resolved with walking. now every night when i lie down within 30 minutes this repeats regardless of positioning?

If you also have type 2 diabetes mellitus, your symptoms are consistent with diabetic neuropathy. If you do not have diabetes mellitus, peripheral vascular disease needs to be ruled out. You should discuss with your doctor about these symptoms. Good luck!
