I fell and hit my nose on the floor. it bled from one side, is somewhat misshapen and swollen. how do i treat this until i can get into my doctor?

I recommend being evaluated in the ER as your nose may be fractured. Swelling will be addressed. You'll be xrayed and treated appropriately depending upon findings. If there's a displaced fracture, an ENT specialist can then be consulted by ER physician if deemed advisable or you'll be instructed when to see one for best care depending upon degree of swelling.
