Those 2 OTC laxative have different active ingredients, sennosides vs. bisacodyl; 15 mg of exlax is probably equivalent in effect to 5-10 mg of dulcolax. Good luck to your colonoscopy!

You cannot substitute Ex-Lax for Dulcolax in a colonoscopy prep. If you do not have the Dulcolax, you should contact your gastroenterologist to reschedule the colonoscopy or to ask what they would like you to do instead for the preparation. Good luck.
