If the blood seems to be outside of the elimination, there may be an anal fissure. Monitor temperature and keep her well hydrated. A diet with five servings daily of vegetables and fruit, including prune juice may be helpful. Reduce intake of processed starchy and baked dessert items such as cake. Please follow up. Watch for signs of abdominal persistent pain and vomiting.
